Hi, I'm Lijuan

Welcome to learn my journey in Switzerland!

Since the end of 2017, I've moved to Switzerland, this beautiful country, filled with polite and kind people, and breathtaking views. I'm so lucky to have the support of my family as I embark on my food business, transitioning from a life in academic and clinical research.

Join me as I explore this new adventure and share my passion on Chinese food!

My Story

I'm a  Chinese and have lived in China for the first 36 years of my life.

 

My life has had many twists and turns. I worked as a medical doctor and moved into pharmaceuticals for my first 10 years of working life. A good opportunity to study for a PhD in Biomedical Science at the University of Bern brought me here. Since graduating, I have been working as a regulatory affairs specialist at Ziemer Ophthalmic Systems Group.

 

Working in the kitchen was my way of unwinding during periods of intense study. In that period, I learnt many food preparation techniques. It was here that I started to learn lots of cooking and wrapping techniques, rather in China.

 

All my friends and family love my Jiao zi (Dumplings), Bao zi (Round ones) and other dishes. This inspired me to start my own food business, bring the Chinese culture relative food to here. I would like to thank everyone who loves my food. Your support means a lot to me.

In future, a lot of new food I plan to produce and let you have a try! Your sincere feedback and suggestions are warmly welcomed.
